Aylin is a social worker with an emphasis in trauma informed care. She graduated from Arizona State University (ASU) with an undergrad in B.S. Psychology while attending Barrett, the Honors College program. She continued her education at ASU, earned her master’s in Social Work (MSW), and earned her clinical license (LCSW) through the State of Arizona BBHE.
She works with children (ages 12-17) and their families. Aylin also works with the young adult-middle adult population (ages 18-50). She has an extensive background in working with general mental health including trauma, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment disorders, and more.
Aylin utilizes evidence-based approaches that have been clinically shown to improve mental and behavioral health. Her therapeutic approach includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. She also enjoys utilizing art therapy and pet-assisted therapy (PAT) in addition to her clinical approaches. Aylin owns a miniature pinscher (16lbs) and she provides therapeutic support during in-person therapy sessions as part of PAT.
