Hi my name is Brenna, LMSW, I’m glad you’re here! I became a therapist because I believe in people’s capacity for change, healing, and growth. My greatest joy is helping others discover their own strength and potential. As a therapist, I see myself as a fellow traveler on your journey, here to listen empathetically, challenge thoughtfully, and guide you using evidence-based techniques as we work toward whatever destination matters most to you. My therapeutic approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I take on a person-centered, existential approach to your concerns and will work collaboratively with you, meeting you where you are and tailoring our work together to fit your unique needs and goals. This is a judgment-free zone where you can be honest, vulnerable, and authentic. Whether you’re navigating a crisis, managing ongoing mental health concerns, or simply seeking growth and change, I’m here to support you. You don’t have to do this alone. I am an advocate for the LGBTQ community and deeply attuned to those navigating faith and religious trauma, as well as veterans and first responders. My expertise lies in suicide prevention, depression, anxiety, PTSD and mood disorders. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy from Brigham Young University-Idaho and my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah. When I am not in the therapy office, I am out hiking with my dog Maeve, an energetic 1yr old puppy.
