Brian Williamson

About the Therapist

Hi, my name is Brian Williamson. I earned my Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2021 and am a Licensed Associate Counselor. My counseling philosophy is grounded in a person-centered approach, where I strive to meet each individual with empathy, respect, and unconditional positive regard. I incorporate a range of therapeutic methods—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and solution-focused techniques—to support clients in understanding their emotions, building resilience, and achieving meaningful growth. My professional experience includes working within the criminal justice system, where I supported individuals facing complex legal and emotional challenges. This background has given me a deeper understanding of how systemic issues can impact mental health and the importance of providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing and transformation.
