Carly (she/her/hers) is a licensed associate counselor and is also in progress of obtaining her registered play therapist certification. Carly has 8 years of experience in working with individuals ages 4+, monogamous and non-monogamous couples, and families, and her deepest love is working with the neurodivergent, disabled/spoonie, and LGBTQ+ communities that are close to her own heart. Her main focus in the therapy room is to form a safe, validating, and mutually authentic relationship with her clients, and she uses an eclectic approach that incorporates a wide variety of coping skills, emotional regulation skills, somatic and nervous system regulation skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, self-advocacy skills, liberation and de-colonized approaches, and utilizing value-focused choice making to navigate a wide assortment of life concerns. In her personal time, she enjoys quality time with loved ones, singing, watching musicals, writing, being outdoors, all things supernatural and spooky, and playing cozy video games.
