Courtney Kucera

About the Therapist

Courtney (she/her) specializes in working with adolescents and young adults who come to therapy seeking support for issues such as depression, suicidal ideation/self-harm, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and/or identity development. Courtney is passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and strives to have an affirming, safe, and empowering approach to those who identify as such. She primarily utilizes a relational-cultural approach while incorporating relevant skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Courtney strives for authenticity in both her practice and her home life and hopes to empower her clients to do the same on their mental health journey. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys listening to Taylor Swift, spending time with her chocolate lab Rio, and trying to find the best lavender oat milk latte in Phoenix.
