Maria is a Licensed Associate Counselor who is passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe, heard, and accepted. She believes that a trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth and enjoys working alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their own strengths. Maria works with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, self-harm, and life transitions. She uses a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques, including CBT, DBT-informed strategies, and play-based interventions, to support each client’s unique needs and goals. Maria is committed to providing culturally responsive care and fostering an inclusive space where every client feels respected, valued, and empowered. Outside of the office, Maria enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, exploring new coffee shops, and finding moments of creativity and relaxation.
